Managerial Experience of minimum 3 years
Procurement/Purchasing Manager will possess strong ethics and values to lead purchasing activities within high ethical standards, and will follow all applicable policies and procedures. This manager will be responsible for all sourcing, negotiations and buying activities. This includes the management and development of direct reports, as well as the indirect functional responsibility for MRO and indirect spend. This position will also develop sourcing strategies and processes to help facilitate excellence regarding, on time delivery, quality, inventory, payment terms, lead times, cost and economics. The Procurement Manager will leverage the CSD Business and regional SCM organizations, as required, and will partner with them in sourcing selection, negotiations and cost out opportunities. Key performance metrics will be aligned with the organization and include Supplier OTD, DPPM, cost out, economics and MPV. The purchasing manager will also be required to study and analyze markets to provide data concerning price trends and prepare the department budget and purchasing forecasts. This position will also require that the individual provide both daily leadership and ongoing development of the Tijuana Aerospace Campus procurement team. |
