The company designs and manufactures power supplies in a wide range since 1987, certified in ISO 9001/08 and Lean Manufacture culture, this company is now looking for a Quality Control Manager for their plant located in Tijuana, Mexico. It will be necessary that the person will have these skills:
OBJECTIVE: Responsible in developing, implementing, maintain and measure the effectiveness of the quality system (system of inspection, policies and procedures, mesurament and testing, corrective actions, internal audits, etc.) That was established to ensure the development of the assembly and/or subassemblies of products according to internal quality standards set by clients and/or regulations (fda, mil specs, ul, qs, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Reports to: Director of Operations
Jobs that directly report: Quality Supervisor, Engineers, ISO-9000 Coordinator, Coordinator of Documentation, Technicians and Inspectors
number of subordinates who report directly: 1-38
Required education: Professional Degree in Engineering
Experience needed: More than 5 years at management level in the area of Quality
English level: 4. - Advanced (Reading and Writing which allow fluid Presentations of Projects and/or participation in the negotiation process.)
Computer knowledge: 2. - Intermediate (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point) and Application Software: ERP’s (Enterprise Resource Planning), Application packages (Statistics packages, databases, etc).
Additional comments:
Can train or Coordinate the training totally or partially related to the Quality Systems.
Desirable Certification (ASQ, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, etc.).
Requires outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).
