Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager for their plant located in Tijuana:
Direct and lead all activities of the Maintenance Department including, but not limited to, maintaining all plant property and equipment, reducing downtime through preventive maintenance and other accepted maintenance techniques, maintaining and improving product quality, improving plant safety, managing costs to budget, providing technical assistance and training, developing personnel, ensuring compliance to all federal, state, and local laws and standards, as well as refining and executing all departmental policies and procedures.
EDUCATION: Bachelors of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or comparable technical education required.
EXPERIENCE:
5 Years plant maintenance or engineering experience required.
3 Years of experience in supervision required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise with team-building, issues resolution, and conflict management.
Practical experience in the use of spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to manage though a productive balance of data analysis and instinct.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
