The company designs and manufactures power supplies in a wide range since 1987, certified in ISO 9001/08 and Lean Manufacture culture, this company is now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager for their plant located in Tijuana, Mexico. It will be necessary that the person will have these skills:
OBJECTIVE: Develops and leads the process of ci (continuous improvement) to ensure that the most effective managing modernization elements and philosophy of manufacturing are implemented to help enhance the operation costs, losses, cycle times, quality and security as well as to allow business to handle more diversity of the demand.
REQUIREMENTS
Required education: Professional Degree usually in Engineering and Certification in Master Belt is a plus.
Experience needed: More than 5 years implementing CI (Continuous Improvement) and Operational Excellence Methods such as Performance Measures and Balance Store-Card, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.
English level: 4. - Advanced (Reading and Writing which allow fluid Presentations of Projects and/or participation in the negotiation process.)
Computer knowledge: 2. - Intermediate/Basic (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and Application Programs such as MS Project, AutoCAD, VISIO, MINITAB, SPSS, etc.
Additional comments:
Requires knowledge in Manufacturing Systems, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM, process of Introducing New Products, Process of Re-engineering, Maintenance, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO/QS, Environmental and Safety Standards, etc.
Requires Leadership and Negotiation Skills and Team building.
Requires Understanding and Application of CI (Continuous Improvement) and Operational Excellence Methods (example: Performance Measures, Balance Score-Card, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.
Can Manage the Engineering Process and Projects.
