Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Manager in Molding Injection for their plant located in Tijuana:
Responsible for providing leadership for operational activities within the plant. Implement operational practices to advance the interest of the company as expressed in the mission statement and guiding principles. Responsible for supporting the facility’s profit and loss measured against established financial and operational metrics. Focus on continuous and sustainable operational improvement. Champion a lean culture. The Injection Molding Manager effectively serves as a leader of the facility.
BACKGROUND:
Require a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.
Require a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience as an Injection Manager
Plastic experience required, with a strong background in injection molding.
Prefer experience from a high-volume environment.
Prefer experience in managing the financial aspects of a manufacturing environment, up to full profit and loss.
Require experience in having implemented and led lean manufacturing practices.
Require experience from an environment where high quality is a priority.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Leadership.
Change agent. The ability to influence culture.
Floor oriented.
Communication.
Engaging, not authoritative.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Exhibit strong Leadership skills
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Facilitation, negotiation and conflict management skills are a must
Ability to positively interact with all levels of the organization.
