This is international company with operations all around the Globe that manufactures electronic connectors and applicator machines for electronic assemblies; with a variaty of products that are sold to the automotive, appliance and communications industries. Thy are now seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer and the major responsabilities for the position are:
• Modify and improve existing processes and equipment.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency, production yields, product quality and consistency equipment.
• Responsible for process validation, processing ECN's for development of manufacturing procedures and their transfer into production.
• Perform hands on troubleshooting for both process and tooling.
• Provide engineering expertise to support activities in the department.
• Specify procedure and implement new/replacement equipment.
• Develop BOM and manufacturing standard.
• Support and manufacturing product change and new product transfers.
• Improve product quality and continuously reduce process variation.
• Performs, affects, and/or coordinates any other work activity that the immediate supervisor requests due the needs of the company
