Our client is looking for a Process Engineer in Molding Injection for their plant located in Tijuana:
Support the product development process by assisting the program teams as necessary to ensure successful product launches. Support part design review process with program teams. Establish injection molding process for each tool.
Support the product development process as an advisor to the design process, driving technical solutions to support manufacturing World-Class injection mold designs. Support the product development process by coordinating and controlling all cost, delivery and quality objectives for the design, construction and validation of injection molds. Improve standards for tooling with individual toolmakers to promote problem free designs. Responsibilities include from design concept and processing through the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required - part/tooling design and or development.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience as an injection molding engineer for the design, construction, processing and validation of injection molds.
Extensive familiarity with plastic processing and manufacturing practices.
Understanding of injection mold processing using a wide variety of engineering grade plastics.
Ability to evaluate molding and tooling problems for best solutions.
Ability to manage complex project assignment priorities.
