The company is a well known electronic company and they are now looking for a Engineering Process Manager for their plant located in Tijuana, Mexico. It will be necessary that the person will have these skills:
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 5 years in electronic industry
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient with Computer aided design (CAD) software.
Proficient with Microsoft office software (i.e. Microsoft Project, Personnel scheduling software etc.)
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Trained in LEAN principles and a proven track record in applying these principles to reduce waste, balance manufacturing processes and improve productivity.
Knowledgeable for transitioning product lines between locations, assessing resource planning and training to accomplish transitions.
Capable of determining what equipment, tooling, materials, methods of manufacturing (may include make/buy-automation decision) and facilities are required to produce a particular product in scheduled quantities.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Desirable Certification (ASQ, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, etc.).
