Micra Consulting is a Global IT Solutions provider specialized in matching our clients IT Business needs with talented and experienced professionals across multiple disciplines. We are currently searching for a Sr/ Mid .Net Developer located in Costa Rica.
Sr/ Mid .Net Developer
Execute day to day technical tasks applicable to regular maintenance updates and enhancements of a suite of .NET web applications.
Design and develop software solutions based on business requirements and user stories.
Diagnose and resolve application issues based on incident tickets and defect tickets.
Support QA and Release Deployment in technical expert role.
Non Technical
• Able to mentor and transfer knowledge to less experienced team members.
• Capable of effectively following up on assigned tasks and reporting on progress and status.
• Prone to adopting and enforcing adherence to processes, procedures, standards & best practices.
• Good troubleshooting experience and must be eager to investigate into problems and come up with possible solutions.
• Have a strong interest and passion to work with a multi-dimensional business and are energetic and ambitious.
• Have flair to excel in delivery commitments.
• Have flexibility to mould in multi-disciplinary culture.
• Have strong business acumen coupled with result orientation.
• Eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment.

• Possess good communication skill and organizing skill.
Technical
• 2 to 3 years experience in MS .NET Web Applications Development.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0.
• Knowledge of web application configuration and deployment in IIS 6 and IIS 7.
• Knowledge of ASP .NET, C# & VB .NET web development.
• Experience developing code that interacts with external Web Services and exposing application functionality through Web Service implementation.
• Experience developing web applications against MS SQL Server 2008 using Views, Stored Procedures and User Functions.
Desirable
• Knowledge of MVC & Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of rich web application interface creation with MS Silverlight.
• Experience using JIRA.
