Overview
Pinnacle Aerospace is searching for an experienced Leader of Software Programs. This position will report directly to the President and will be responsible for end to end program execution, resource management, schedule tracking and delivery of large embedded aerospace software development and software test projects.
Job Description
The primary function of this position is to execute programs, manage engineers and financial resources to deliver the software program on schedule as promised. The position will require frequent interaction with US based aerospace customers (including potential travel opportunities to the US) with all interaction being conducted in English. The position will also require an expert mastery of MS Project 2007 and other project reporting tools such as MS Sharepoint.
Required Education
BS in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent

Required Skills/Attributes
Ć 3- 5 years experience with embedded software design concepts and processes
Ć 7-10 years experience in leadership and management of Medium/Large Software projects
Ć Advanced competency in MS Project 2007
Ć Basic computer operation (Windows XP, Office, Servers, etc)
Ć Passport/Visa - Ability to work/travel in the United States
Optional (Highly Desirable) Education / Skills
Ć MS in engineering, software or equivalent
Ć Certifications in Program Management
Ć Requirements management tools e.g DOORS
Ć Experience with IBM Rational tool suite (Rose, ClearCase, ClearQuest)
Ć Configuration management experience (Subversion, Mantis, Tortoise)
Ć Object oriented design concepts
Ć Embedded systems knowledge and experience
Ć Software architecture and design concepts such as layering architectures
Ć Working knowledge of DO-178b specifications
Ć MS Visual Basic as required to modify MS Project
