Responsibilities require the ability to professionally engineer, optimize and troubleshoot data transformations. Job responsibilities will be facilitated through participation in a development lifecycle that will include interaction with project managers, analysts, developers, test engineers and other database administrators. A strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning and excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) are critical for fulfilling job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• A degree in Computer Science, IT, IS or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and administration.• 5+ years of (ETL) data integration experience.• Expert ability to read, write, debug and test T-SQL (ANSI SQL) code including complex queries and stored procedures for high volume applications.
• Expert ability to read, write and debug VBScript code.• Expert ability to utilize Microsoft SQL Server tools including: SQL Server Profiler, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio• Expert ability to understand complex applications.
• Pervasive Data Integrator or Business Integrator Experience is a major plus.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCTS or MCDBA are a major plus.
• Visual Basic 6 and ADO development knowledge is a major plus.
• Knowledge of HR and payroll processing systems is a major plus
